Work

For temporary residence in Canada, applicants have a choice between a study, visitor, or work visa. For each category there is a different process.

Study Visa

For the study program, in most cases, students will need confirmation from their school to be able to apply for a study permit. Furthermore, university students will need to be certain their institution is compatible if they desire a post-graduation work permit to stay in Canada and work after their studies.

Visitor Visa

Visitor visa’s are very common, as many people from around the world love to travel to Canada as tourists. However, there are many common mistakes that are made that prevent people from obtaining this visa. Work Visa

Work permits can differ depending on what job applicants are coming to Canada to do. As well, it will matter where the applicant comes from. These factors will determine if some steps will be needed by the prospective employer or not. Canada has agreements with other countries that may allow a foreign worker to come and work easily. However, this is not the case for everyone and so it is vitally important that foreign workers come to Canada with the appropriate documentation to ensure they get their work permits.
